Terms of Service & Platform Regulations
Effective Date: September 8, 2026 · Version 3.4.0 · Governing Entity: AI Law Lab / AGIME LLC
1. Acceptance of Terms & Scope of Platform
By accessing, browsing, submitting queries to, or executing legal workflows on AI Law Lab (accessible via https://law.agime.ai and associated application endpoints), you ("User", "Counsel", or "Subscriber") agree to be bound unconditionally by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a law firm, corporation, or legal clinic, you warrant that you possess the full legal authority to bind such entity.
2. Autonomous AI Reasoning & Absence of Attorney-Client Privilege
AI Law Lab operates as an advanced computational retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) platform grounded in primary statutory and precedential legal authorities. AI Law Lab is not a law firm and does not provide formal legal representation or legal advice.
3. 24-Hour Ephemeral Retention & Automated Destruction (Retention Reaper)
In strict adherence to zero-trust client confidentiality standards, confidential case narratives, uploaded evidence exhibits, and private analysis sessions are governed by our automated 24-Hour Ephemeral Retention Policy.
- All transient evidentiary files and session tokens are permanently scrubbed and unrecoverably purged from primary databases and Redis caches exactly twenty-four (24) hours following ingestion.
- Users are solely responsible for exporting generated PDF legal memoranda, citation indexes, and draft filings prior to expiration.
4. Public Docket Showcase & Judicial Transparency Consent
Express, Irrevocable Public License Grant: When a user or counsel submits a matter classified as a public research docket, or initiates inquiries under non-privileged research modes, the user explicitly grants AI Law Lab an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to index, summarize, format, and publicly display such ongoing matters in the AI Law Lab Live Public Docket Feed, company showcase pages, promotional registries, and transparency reports.
Public Display Scope Includes: Docket numbers, jurisdiction identifiers, litigation stage, procedural claims, verified statutory citations, and synthesized summaries.
Opt-Out for Privileged Client Data: Confidential client matters must be designated under Enterprise Private Workspaces with Zero-Retention flags. Any matter submitted through open research pipelines is deemed non-confidential and eligible for public transparency showcase.
5. Physical Legal Process Serving & Multi-Channel Communications
Where physical parcel dispatch or electronic process service is requested through supported carriers (including USPS Certified Mail with Return Receipt, FedEx Legal Next Day, UPS, and DHL), AI Law Lab acts as an electronic data intermediary:
- Tracking numbers and SHA-256 electronic Proof of Service hashes are generated and logged as evidentiary timestamps.
- Delivery timelines, carrier exceptions, and signature verifications are governed by the respective carrier's tariffs and conditions of carriage.
- SMS, voice, and electronic notifications dispatched via Twilio or SMTP gateways rely on external telecom networks; AI Law Lab is not liable for carrier-level deliverability failures.
6. Subscription Billing & Retainer Terms
Subscription and per-case fee structures are processed through our authorized billing facility at https://pay.agime.ai. Pay-Per-Case purchases are non-refundable once computational inference and synthesis have commenced. Ongoing Matter Retainers renew automatically monthly until affirmatively canceled prior to the renewal cycle.
7. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI LAW LAB AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL AI LAW LAB BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM STATUTORY DEADLINES, COURT DISMISSALS, OR RELIANCE ON SYNTHESIZED CASE FINDINGS. MAXIMUM CUMULATIVE LIABILITY IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FEES PAID BY USER IN THE PRECEDING THREE (3) MONTHS.
8. Governing Law & Mandatory Binding Arbitration
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this platform shall be resolved exclusively through confidential binding arbitration administered by JAMS in San Francisco, California.
